Anne Stuart has 30 years of experience in healthcare finance and has held a variety of executive positions with health care and senior living industry companies during her career. Prior to joining AgeWell Solvere Living as the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer in early 2023, Anne served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, as well as a board member, for Avalon Health Care, Inc since 2014. Avalon is a privately held regional post-acute and senior living company headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. Pending a confidential private sale of Avalon.
Prior to her position with Avalon, Anne served as Executive Vice President and CFO at Care One, LLC, a privately held, post-acute company headquartered in Fort Lee, NJ. Other professional experiences have included: Senior Vice President of Finance at Sunrise Senior Living, Inc., Vice President of Finance at Marriot Senior Living Services, and Corporate Treasurer at the Forum Group, Inc., an owner and operator of senior living communities which were sold to Marriott International in 1995.
In her various financial positions, Anne has had supervisory experience for Accounting Services, Financial Reporting, Treasury and Cash Management Services, Asset Management, Human Resources, Property Management, Procurement, Information Technology and Investor Relations.
Prior to Marriott Senior Living Services, Anne served as Executive Vice President and CFO of Corvis Corporation, a high-tech telecommunications firm, taking this company public in July 2000 with an equity offering of $1.3 billion on a market cap of $40.0 billion on the day of the IPO.
