Chief Strategy Officer
Rich Gordon
Rich has a diverse background in operations, marketing, and sales with over 20 years’ experience in seniors housing. He has held positions in sales and marketing at the community, regional and corporate level. Rich joined AgeWell Solvere Living in early 2022 to lead company-wide sales and marketing initiatives for both open and new-built communities in lease-up. Rich expanded his role to Chief Strategic and Business Development Officer, to further support new business development opportunities in early 2025.
Prior to his time at Solvere Living, he was a Regional Sales and Marketing Director with Civitas Senior Living, where he oversaw sales and marketing efforts in a portfolio of new and existing communities in the southeast.
Before moving to Florida and working for Civitas, Rich served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Salmon Health and Retirement (Salmon) in Milford, MA from 2016 through 2020. At Salmon, Rich was responsible for delivering the vision of the organization including oversight of the planning, development and execution of marketing and advertising initiatives for over 1,300 units. In his last two years with Salman, he increased revenue by 8% from $115M to $135M through successful marketing strategies, including market research, pricing, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising, and public relations.
Prior to his tenure with Salman, Rich was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for LCB Senior Living based in Norwood, MA (LCB) where he managed a team of three regional sales managers, a director of corporate marketing and sales specialists responsible for 23 communities and over 1,750 units across five New England states. As a member of the executive team at LCB, Rich established a number of new protocols and programs for the start-up senior living company: sales and marketing policy and procedures, sales position job descriptions, mystery shop programs to track company performance, and various trainings around areas of opportunity. Additionally, he managed the due diligence process on all acquisitions and set sales and marketing plans to re-brand underperforming assets and re-wrote the mission statement and core values to support creating organizational and team culture.
Prior to LCB, Rich held positions with BrightView Senior Living as Regional Sales Manager, Atria Senior Living as both a Regional Vice President of Operations and Regional Director of Sales for the Northeast Division and with Sunrise Senior Living as a Senior Executive Director.
