Billy joined AgeWell Solvere Living in early 2023 in the role of Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis. Billy Di Sera has 24 years of experience in healthcare finance and has held a variety of finance positions within the skilled nursing and senior housing field during his career. Prior to joining AgeWell Solvere Living, Billy served in several finance roles for Avalon Health Care, Inc., since 1999. Most recently Billy served as the Senior Vice President – Corporate Controller. Avalon is a privately held regional post-acute and senior living company headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.
As the Senior Vice President – Corporate Controller, Billy was responsible for overseeing the general finance teams within the organization. These responsibilities included GAAP and regulatory compliance, financial close processing, financial reporting, accounting services, forecasting and budgeting, operational analytics, cost reporting and audit compliance.
