Joe Geiser
Joe Geiser comes to AgeWell Solvere with an extensive background in food service management for senior living communities as well as corporate and nonprofit organizations. As Director of Dining Services for AgeWell Solvere, Joe oversees all aspects of culinary services for AgeWell Solvere’s managed communities across the country, including menu development, nutritional guidelines, hiring and training food service directors, establishing budgets and ensuring that the dining experience across all communities delivers a high standard of customer service.
Joe started his 30+ year career as a lead cook for a full-service restaurant and worked his way up the culinary career ladder as director of food and beverage operations at a half dozen senior living communities including a 500-resident community with an operating budget of over $1.2 million and a staff of 70, and two multi-site organizations serving a total of 29 communities. Joe created and implemented Food Service Operations Policy and Procedure Manuals, successfully organized food service operations at 10 start up communities and negotiated vendor contracts to maximize potential and control expenses.
Joe’s goal is to maximize customer satisfaction and enhance and improve all aspects of culinary services at each AgeWell Solvere community, with a focus on promoting excellence as an everyday standard.
Education and Certifications: Business Administration ,Suffolk County Community College, Selden, NY Certified Dietary Managers 90 hour course credential 1988. CFPP 1992
