Assistant Controller
John Allsop
John Allsop joined AgeWell Solvere Living in Summer 2024, bringing over 20 years of accounting experience, including 13 years in the skilled nursing industry. As Assistant Controller, John is responsible for preparing monthly financial reports for multiple communities, managing external audits, analyzing financial statements, and performing a variety of accounting and treasury functions.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah and an MBA from the Gore School of Business at Westminster University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Inspired by his early career in public accounting, John developed a deep appreciation for the healthcare industry’s unique challenges. His passion for serving others led him to focus on senior living and skilled nursing, where he takes pride in leveraging his expertise to contribute to solutions that make a difference.
John believes providing healthcare and services to seniors is both a privilege and an honor.
