Melissa Velasquez has been with AgeWell Solvere for 3.5 years, contributing to the marketing team through the development of marketing initiatives and campaigns. Her responsibilities include creating and managing social media content, training Sonata communities in social media and Marq (a template and calendar platform), and designing flyers and templates using Adobe Creative Suite.
Prior to joining AgeWell Solvere, Melissa worked as a graphic designer with Signarama, focusing on print production design, social media management, and the development of company assets. She also interned as a graphic designer at Orlando Style Productions (Orlando Style Magazine).
Inspired by her close relationship with her grandparents and her experiences with senior living, Melissa pursued a career in this field to highlight the positive impact senior living can have on individuals and their loved ones. She believes in promoting the independence of each resident and helping them continue to live up to their legacy.
